 Via her twitter account, ex- Girls Aloud Member Sarah Harding announced her very expected debut solo single.
 Entitled "Threads", the single will be released on August 7th.
 After The Band hiatus, in 2009, Sarah has told she would release an album solo, but only after 6 years later we're finally seeing it happen.
 Cheryl released her debut solo single in 2009, Nadine in 2010, Nicola in 2011 and Kimberley in 2013. Now its Sarah's turn.

Girls Aloud: Documentário da Banda vence o das Spice Girls em audiência

Disputas entre girlband, especialmente as britânicas, sempre foram um prato cheio para a mídia, principalmente para os tablóides da terra da Rainha Elizabeth II.
Para aumentar ainda mais as comparações, dois documentários foram ao ar neste mês de dezembro: um sobre os 10 anos de Girls Aloud e outro sobre a carreira e o musical das Spice Girls.
Na disputa pela audiência, o documentário do Girls Aloud saiu vencedor por uma pequena margem. O "Ten Years At The Top" conseguiu um total de 2.3 milhões de telespectadores (10.5%), enquanto o "The Spice Girls Story: Viva Forever", exibido na noite de véspera de natal, totalizou 2.27 milhões de telespectadores (8.9%).
As meninas do Girls Aloud sairão em turnê comemorativa dos 10 anos do grupo a partir do dia 21 de fevereiro. Enquanto isso, rumores de um possível novo álbum das Spice Girls vão ficando mais forte, apesar da total relutância de Victoria Beckham em voltar a trabalhar com suas companheiras de grupo.

A segunda música de trabalho da coletânea "Ten" foi lançada pelas meninas do Girls Aloud nesta terça-feira (13) na rádio BBC 2. A balada "Beautiful Cause You Love Me" estreará oficialmente apenas no dia 17 de dezembro – vinte dias após a chegada do greatest hits às prateleiras britânicas.

"Agora o mundo inteiro pode me chamar de feia / E daí pra você? / Eu não sou / Você não me ama porque eu sou bonita / Eu sou bonita porque você me ama", canta a girlband.

Após anos separadas, a primeira apresentação do grupo acontecerá no programa "Strictly Come Dancing", versão britânica do "Dança dos Famosos" neste fim de semana.

Kimberley Walsh: Desmente que Girls Aloud vá se separar após a turnê comemorativa

 

A cantora Kimberley Walsh desmentiu a informação de que o retorno do Girls Aloud já tenha data para terminar. Em entrevista ao programa “Newsbeat”, ela disse que a girlband “nunca se separará definitivamente” e que é mentira que o grupo seria desfeito após a turnê comemorativa de 2013.

A declaração contraria o que a integrante Cheryl escreveu em sua autobiografia, na qual afirmou que o reencontro para celebrar os 10 anos de formação do grupo seria o último trabalho do Girls Aloud. “Não acho que nenhuma de nós saiba o que acontecerá depois da turnê. Isso é o mais distante que planejamos”, contou.

Questionada especificamente sobre a afirmação de Cheryl no livro, Walsh desconversa, dizendo que a cantora escreveu aquilo há muito tempo. “Ela obviamente escreveu antes de qualquer música, antes que nós nos reencontrássemos”, explicou.
